The Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India, has announced the commencement of nominations for the esteemed Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) for the year 2025. This prestigious award aims to honour young individuals who have exhibited exceptional bravery and those who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in various fields, serving as role models with significant societal impact.
The Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar recognises the selfless acts of bravery by young hearts, as well as exceptional abilities and achievements in fields such as Sports, Social Service, Science & Technology, Environment, Arts & Culture, and Innovation. These awards hold national significance and are bestowed by the Hon’ble President of India at a special ceremony held in New Delhi every January.
The nominations for PMRBP-2025 are now open, with the online portal for applications (https://awards.gov.in) being made live on April 1, 2024. Eligible candidates, Indian citizens residing in India, aged between 5 to 18 years as of July 31, 2024, are encouraged to apply for this esteemed recognition.
Applications for the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar must be submitted exclusively through the designated online portal before the deadline of July 31, 2024. The Ministry emphasises that only applications received through the online portal will be considered for evaluation.
Deserving candidates who have made exceptional contributions in any of the fields of Bravery, Sports, Social Service, Science & Technology, Environment, Arts & Culture, and Innovation are eligible for nomination. The Ministry encourages the nomination of individuals who have demonstrated remarkable dedication and impact in their respective fields.
