A missing elderly woman from South Creek, Baratang, was found and rescued following a comprehensive search operation conducted by the local police, Forest and APWD Departments, and community volunteers.

The incident began when Mr. Krishna Baghwar, a private driver and resident of South Creek, reported his mother missing at the Baratang Police Station on June 24. He explained that his mentally unstable mother had left their house on the morning of June 23 and had not returned.

Upon receiving the report, the police promptly registered a missing persons case and issued an alert. A dedicated team from PS Baratang launched a jungle search operation, enlisting support from staff of the Forest and APWD Departments, along with local villagers.
