The Assistant Education Office of Nancowrie hosted a vibrant Zonal Level Science, Maths, Arts & Craft Exhibition at the Government Model Senior Secondary School in Goal Tekry, Kamorta. The event was graced by Mr. Ravinder Kumar, Assistant Commissioner of the Nancowrie group of Islands, who served as the chief guest, along with Mr. Mohammed Yunus M, Block Development Officer of Nancowrie, as the guest of honour.
Students from various schools under the Block Project Officer, Nancowrie showcased an impressive array of innovative projects, demonstrating their problem-solving skills and scientific understanding. In his address, the Assistant Commissioner encouraged students to create models that could have practical applications in everyday life, emphasising the importance of using their knowledge to benefit society.
The exhibition saw enthusiastic participation from teachers and students alike, highlighting their commitment to Science, Maths, Arts & Craft.
In addition to the exhibition, a quiz competition was held on the same day, organized by the Assistant Commissioner’s office. Themed ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao,’ the competition featured girl students from GSSS Champin, GMSSS Goal Tekry, and GSSS Kapanga Katchal. Participation certificates were awarded to all contestants by the Assistant Commissioner, acknowledging their efforts and engagement in this important initiative.
The event successfully showcased the talents and creativity of students, reinforcing the significance of educational activities in fostering innovative thinking and societal awareness.
