Directorate of Social Welfare Invites Community to Participate in Hasgulla Club Every Weekend

The Directorate of Social Welfare is spearheading efforts to cultivate a healthy, drug-free society through its innovative Awareness-cum-Fitness Programme, popularly known as the Hasgulla Club. This initiative is part of the larger ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan’ (Drug-Free India Campaign) and witnessed enthusiastic participation from the local community over the weekend.

The program on Saturday featured engaging sessions led by Mr. Ravinder Rao, a teacher renowned for his expertise in the Art of Living. Attendees were encouraged to adopt healthy lifestyles and embrace a drug-free existence. The sessions continued on Sunday, featuring Mr. M.S. Murgan, a respected fitness and mental health expert, who inspired participants to prioritise their physical and mental well-being.

In a call to action, the Directorate of Social Welfare has invited all interested individuals to join the transformative Hasgulla Club program. Sessions are held every Saturday and Sunday at Jogger’s Park from 5:30 am to 7:00 am.
