Andaman Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee (ANTCC) President, Mr. Rangalal Halder, has formally appealed to the Director of Health Services, calling for the prompt deployment of a qualified staff capable of operating Ultrasonography Equipment at the Community Health Center (CHC) in Rangat.

In his statement, Mr. Halder emphasized the pressing need for trained personnel to operate the ultrasonography equipment at the facility, which has been left idle due to a lack of qualified staff. He voiced concerns over the effects of this shortage on critical diagnostic services, particularly in prenatal care and general sonographic imaging, both essential for early diagnosis and timely medical intervention.

This appeal highlights the crucial role that a certified operator would play in enhancing healthcare services for residents of North and Middle Andaman, many of whom depend on CHC Rangat for accessible and reliable medical care. The ANTCC president’s request serves as a call to action to improve healthcare infrastructure and service quality in the region, ensuring that diagnostic services reach those in need.
