Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 8th instalment of PM Kisan Samaan Nidhi Scheme (Pm-Kisan). During the function Prime Minister interacted with farmer beneficiaries from different parts of the country during the function.
Prime Minister also interacted with Patrick an organic farmer from Tapoiming village of Car Nicobar. Patrick the 62 year old farmer enthusiastically told PM Narendra Modi that he lives in a joint family and his family is involved in organic agriculture.
He was also seen telling the PM that he grows Nicobari Aalu, Malyala Aalu, Vegetables, Pandanus etc., PM hailed the farmer and appreciated them living in a joint family and doing agriculture together in the age when people prefer to live in nuclear families.
Patrick also told the Prime Minister that the sum of Rs. 2000/- which he receives regularly as instalments of PM Kisan Samaan Nidhi helps him a lot in procuring agriculture inputs.
Prime Minister was seen smiling during the time Patrick spoke to him. Patrick also invited the Prime Minister to Car Nicobar to have some coconut water and Prime Minister was seen telling him that he would surely visit the Island.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Car Nicobar during his last visit to Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
