Residents aged 18-44 years can register and book slots for getting themselves inoculated from 18th May 2021 in the Islands.The vaccination will start in the Islands from 19th May 2021. 9070 doses of COVISHIELD have been recieved at Andaman and Nicobar Islands from Serum Institute of India.
1000 doses of vaccines are being sent to Mayabunder and about 250-500 doses will be sent to Car Nicobar.
District Administration of North and Middle Andaman and Nicobar District will decide on how they will vaccinate the beneficiaries of their district. They will also decide on the dates and venue of vaccination in the district.
Online registration is mandatory for the age group of 18-44 years. The residents in South Andaman District can register and book their slots for vaccination from 9:30 Am to 12:30 Pm starting 18th May 2021 and vaccination will be administered at JNRM from 19th of May 2021.
Vaccination will not be administered without appointment booking. Only 300 vaccines will be administered everyday at JNRM Vaccination Centre.
