The Lt. Governor of Andaman and Nicobar Islands has announced the summer vacation schedule for the year 2025. The Directorate of Education through Office Order No. 283 informed that the summer vacation will be observed in all Government, Private Aided, and Unaided Schools across the islands from May 1, 2025 (Thursday) to June 29, 2025 (Sunday), spanning 60 days.
All schools will reopen on June 30, 2025 (Monday) post the summer vacation.
The Directorate of Education has also directed that the results for the 2024–25 academic session must be declared by March 31, 2025 (Monday). The new academic session will begin on April 1, 2025 (Tuesday).
This announcement provides clarity to students, parents, and educational institutions, ensuring they are well-prepared for the upcoming academic calendar.
