The live screening of the Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025 programme was organized by the Department of Education, A&N Administration, at the conference hall of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Institute of Technology (DBRAIT) on 10th February 2025. Hundreds of students from various schools in Sri Vijaya Puram attended the event and drew inspiration from the motivational words of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Approximately 300 students from classes 10 and 12, who will be appearing for the upcoming board exams, participated in the live session, gaining valuable insights and encouragement from the Prime Minister’s address.

A significant highlight of this year’s programme was the interaction between Ms. Akshara J. Nair of PM SHRI School, Campbell Bay, and the Hon’ble Prime Minister at Sunder Nursery, New Delhi. Ms. Akshara was among 35 students selected from across India for this special interaction.

Additionally, four students from the A&N Islands had the rare opportunity to attend Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025 at different venues. Ms. S. Varsha Rani of Govt. Girls Sr. Sec. School, Sri Vijaya Puram, and Mr. Mohd. Ayaan of Govt. Model Sr. Sec. School, Aberdeen, participated in the sixth session held in Mumbai. Meanwhile, Ms. Akshara J. Nair and Mr. G. Tejeesh of Nirmala Sr. Sec. School were selected to attend the final session in New Delhi.

These students were also privileged to witness the Republic Day Parade at Kartavya Path, New Delhi, on January 26, 2025, adding to their memorable experience.

Interacting with the students, Principal of SIE and Nodal Officer for Pariksha Pe Charcha, Ms. Sangeeta Chand, highlighted that 90% of students from the A&N Islands registered for the programme this year. “It is a matter of pride that four students from the islands were selected to participate in Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025, with two traveling to Mumbai and two to New Delhi,” she said.

An online interaction with Ms. Akshara J. Nair was also arranged for students at the DBRAIT conference hall. During the session, Ms. Akshara shared her experience of meeting and interacting with Prime Minister Modi. She answered questions from the students, offering them valuable advice and encouragement.

Simultaneously, the Education Department made elaborate arrangements for live screenings of the programme in schools across the islands. A total of 37,702 participants, including students, parents, and teachers, watched the live stream of Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025, ensuring the reach and impact of the initiative across the A&N Islands.
