56 COVID Related Deaths Reported in A & N Islands since March 2021

56 COVID-19 related deaths have been reported in Andaman and Nicobar Islands since 1st of March 2021. The main reason for the loss of so many lives due to the second wave of COVID-19 is being attributed to the late reporting of symptoms to the administration and health authorities. 

The general public in Andaman and Nicobar Islands are not reporting their symptoms to the health authorities on time. The patients are further seeking medical help only after their oxygen saturation falls and they face difficulty in breathing.

It is very important to seek medical help if any symptoms of COVID-19 appears in an individual. The sooner the treatment starts the better it is for the patient.

Self treatment at home without any guidance of a doctor will only make the situation worse and may turn fatal for the patient.

It is very important that as and when any symptoms of COVID-19 appears, it is reported immediately to the administration or to the health authorities, so that the patient receives treatment from an early stage.

118 people have lost their lives due to COVID-19 in Andaman and Nicobar Islands since the start of the pandemic.
