The Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs has announced the commencement of Vacation Hobby Classes in swimming for school students. The program is open to students who are above 4 feet in height.
Application forms for the classes will be available at the Swimming Pool, Netaji Stadium, on May 6 and 7, 2025, between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM. A total of 150 admissions will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis, and parents are required to accompany their child while collecting the form.
The submission of duly filled-in application forms must be completed between May 8 and 9, 2025, during the same time slot of 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
These vacation classes aim to encourage physical activity among students and promote swimming as a valuable life skill during the summer break.
