The Department of Art & Culture, Andaman and Nicobar Administration, will commemorate the 164th birth anniversary of Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore with a cultural celebration today at 5 pm at the Andaman Club.
The event, held as part of the annual Rabindra Jayanti observance, will feature a vibrant cultural programme showcasing the literary and artistic legacy of Tagore, fondly known as Gurudev. Tagore, a poet, writer, philosopher, and composer, has left an indelible mark on Indian literature, music, and culture through his timeless works.
Open to the general public, the event invites residents and visitors alike to pay homage to Tagore’s enduring contributions to Indian and Bengali heritage.
