A Veterinary Health and Infertility Camp was successfully conducted on 27th June, 2025 by the Veterinary Dispensary, Manglutan, under the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, A&N Administration, in collaboration with ICAR–Central Island Agricultural Research Institute (CIARI), Sri Vijaya Puram. The camp was held across villages under Guptapara and Humferygunj Gram Panchayats.

The primary objective of the camp was to address infertility issues in cattle—a major concern leading to economic losses for farmers. During the camp, a total of seven cows with infertility complaints were examined. Following diagnosis, appropriate treatment and expert advice were provided to aid recovery and improve reproductive health.

Experts emphasized the importance of effective management practices in enhancing reproductive efficiency in cattle. The camp saw the active participation of Dr. Perumal P., Senior Scientist, ICAR-CIARI, and Dr. Lawhale Ninad Sahebrao, Senior Veterinary Officer, along with the supporting staff of the Veterinary Dispensary, Manglutan.

The initiative was appreciated by local farmers, who benefited from the expert consultations and treatments provided during the camp.
