Mr. TSG Bhasker, Chairman of the Campaign Committee, Andaman and Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee (ANTCC), visited the site of the devastating fire incident that occurred last night at Dairy Farm.
During his visit, Mr. Bhasker met with the affected families, offered condolences, and assured them of all possible assistance, including help with rehabilitation efforts. He expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss of life and stood in solidarity with those who have lost their homes, belongings, and important documents in the fire.
The family of the deceased woman who lost her life in the incident requested Mr. Bhasker’s support in transporting her mortal remains to Kolkata. Responding to their appeal, Mr. Bhasker assured them that the postmortem would be completed on Thursday and that arrangements would be made to send the body to Kolkata by Friday.
Mr. Bhasker has also written to the Deputy Commissioner of South Andaman, requesting immediate relief for the victims of the fire. He reiterated his commitment to ensuring that the affected families receive the support they need to rebuild their lives after this unfortunate tragedy.
