A newly renovated and fully equipped gymnasium near Vivekananda Stadium was inaugurated on 15th August 2025, offering residents state-of-the-art fitness facilities. The upgraded gym features modern exercise equipment, air-conditioning, and improved infrastructure, creating a comfortable and motivating environment for fitness enthusiasts.
The inauguration was conducted by Mr. Kamleshwar Rao S, IAS, Assistant Commissioner, Diglipur, in the presence of Ms. Sulochna, Deputy Education Officer. Both officials lauded the initiative, emphasizing the importance of physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle in today’s fast-paced world.
The facility is expected to benefit local youth, sportspersons, and fitness lovers, providing them with enhanced opportunities to maintain good health and prepare for sporting events.
