As part of Rashtriya Poshan Maah-2025, the AYUSH Wing of the Directorate of Health Services (DHS) in collaboration with the A&N State AYUSH Society will organize a week-long yoga session focusing on obesity awareness among men. The initiative aims to promote health and wellness through structured yoga practices.

The sessions will be conducted from September 8 to 15, between 5 am and 6 am, at the Yoga Unit, AYUSH Hospital, Junglighat, and Marina Park. Designed for men in the 30–35 age group, the program will include yoga practices, breathing techniques, and lifestyle guidance to help participants manage weight effectively.

Health experts will highlight the importance of regular yoga practice, balanced nutrition, and physical activity in preventing lifestyle-related diseases. The sessions are also expected to improve flexibility, reduce stress, and encourage the adoption of healthier habits.

Interested participants are required to complete their registration by September 6 at the Yoga Unit, AYUSH Hospital. For further queries, they may contact Dr. Nandini, MO (Yoga & Naturopathy), AYUSH Hospital, at 9449117606.
