The Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee (ANTCC) organised ‘Vote Chori’ Signature Campaign to Ward Nos. 01 and 02.
In Ward No. 01, the campaign was led by Mr. Gyanasekaran under the guidance of Mr. T.S.G. Bhasker, Chairman of the ANTCC Campaign Committee. According to Congress, residents showed keen interest, visiting the campaign kiosk to sign and express their backing. Party cadres were also provided with signature forms to continue outreach in their respective areas, each assigned a target of 40 signatures.
Similarly, in Ward No. 02, the campaign was spearheaded by Mr. Eswar Rao, with support from Mr. Jaikumar Nair, Ex-Chairperson of PBMC, and under the supervision of Mr. T.S.G. Bhasker. Congress in its press release informed that the response from the community was equally enthusiastic, with many visiting the kiosk to sign in support of the initiative.
Both programs saw the presence of prominent leaders including Ms. Zubaida Begum, State President of Mahila Congress; Mr. Y. Joga Rao, Councillor of Ward No. 14; Mr. Ameer Bux, Vice Chairman of the Minority Department; and Mr. B. Joga Rao (Dadkan), Congress Leader, alongside several other party representatives and supporters. The events were described by organizers as a resounding success.
