UGED Teacher Trainees Engage in Community Outreach Activities

A five-day annual community living camp for UGED teacher trainees (Batch 2023–27) is being organized by Tagore Government College of Education. The camp commenced on 14th October 2025. The second day of the camp, observed on 15th October 2025, focused on the theme “Community Outreach and Social Awareness” under the initiatives of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, and the Red Ribbon Club.

A total of 103 teacher trainees participated in the outreach activities, presenting Nukkad Nataks on socially significant issues such as prevention of HIV/AIDS, cyber abuse and fraud, and drug and substance abuse.

As part of the community outreach programme, the trainees visited GSSS School Line, GSSS Tushnabad, and GSSS Manglutan, where they showcased their performances aimed at spreading awareness on pressing social concerns.
