IRBn to Host ‘Police Soccer League – 2025’ in November; Teams Invited to Register by Oct. 31

The India Reserve Battalion (IRBn), Andaman & Nicobar Police has announced the launch of the “Police Soccer League – 2025” (PSL–2025), an open-to-all football tournament aimed at promoting sportsmanship, fitness, and community engagement across the Islands.

Scheduled to kick off in the first week of November 2025 at the IRBn Headquarters in Port Mout (Village), Chouldhari, South Andaman, the tournament seeks to strengthen Police–Public relations through the shared spirit of football.

The event will provide a vibrant platform for players from all corners of the Islands — from rural panchayats to urban wards — to showcase their talent and passion for the game. Teams representing local clubs, educational institutions, community organisations, and youth groups are expected to participate, creating a festive and competitive sporting environment.

Comprehensive arrangements are being made for teams, referees, and spectators to ensure fair play and the smooth conduct of the matches. To encourage widespread participation, a nominal entry fee of ₹5,000 per team has been fixed.
