The State Library has rolled out a special initiative to foster a reading culture among children and senior citizens through its unique program — ‘Read a Book, Get a Gift Free’.

Under this initiative, senior citizens visiting the library will be welcomed with complimentary tea, while children will receive chocolates as tokens of appreciation for their enthusiasm for reading. The program aims to create a warm, engaging, and motivating environment that makes reading a more enjoyable and rewarding experience.

By introducing this small but meaningful incentive, the State Library seeks to inspire citizens of all ages to rediscover the joy of reading and cultivate lifelong reading habits.

The library has invited the public to visit and experience these special offerings — “a gift with every page turned.”

Meanwhile, to accommodate more visitors, the library has extended its evening hours. It will now remain open from 9 AM to 8 PM. (Story Based on PR)
