A day-long programme on “Fostering Synergies Between Rural Youth and PRIs for Sustainable Community Development” was organized under the Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (RGSA) by the Community Development Block, Ferrargunj, at the Community Managed Training Centre (CMTC) building. The initiative aimed to enhance coordination between Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) and rural youth to promote inclusive and sustainable rural development.

The programme featured two key sessions. The first session, conducted by Mr. Rakesh Kumar, Executive Officer of the Khadi and Village Industries Board, highlighted various schemes and initiatives of the Board. The second session, led by Ms. Deepa Biswas, Domain Expert (Livelihood), Directorate of Rural Development, focused on team building and collaboration through interactive and activity-based exercises.

The event served as a platform to encourage active participation of rural youth in local governance and community development initiatives, fostering a stronger partnership with PRIs.
