The Union Territory Level Bankers’ Committee (UTLBC) of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands will organise two Mega Awareness Camps in Mayabunder and Car Nicobar on 21st November 2025 under the nationwide campaign “आपकापूंजी, आपकाअधिकार – Your Money, Your Right.” The three-month campaign was launched by the Department of Financial Services (DFS), Ministry of Finance, on 4th October 2025 to assist citizens in reclaiming their unclaimed financial assets.
The camps will be conducted through the Lead District Manager (LDM), North & Middle Andaman, and the Lead District Manager (LDM), Nicobar District. The initiative aims to fast-track the settlement of unclaimed deposits and improve public awareness about retrieving dormant financial assets.
In Mayabunder, the camp will be held at the Panchayat Hall, Gram Panchayat Rampur, from 10:00 AM and will be attended by the Pradhan of Gram Panchayat Rampur. At Car Nicobar, the camp is scheduled at the Community Hall, Teetop, from 10:00 AM, where the Captain of Teetop Village will grace the occasion.
Both camps will offer on-the-spot verification and settlement of eligible claims related to unclaimed bank deposits, insurance proceeds, mutual fund units, pension dues, and other dormant financial assets.
