BLO Sneha Sikder Recognised for Exemplary Service During Ongoing SIR of Electoral Rolls

The Special Intensive Revision (SIR)–2025 of Electoral Rolls across the Andaman & Nicobar Islands commenced from November 4, with the objective of ensuring that all eligible citizens are enrolled as voters. As part of the exercise, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are conducting door-to-door visits to distribute and collect enumeration forms, aiming for maximum accuracy and inclusivity in the updated rolls.

In this ongoing revision process, Ms. Sneha Sikder, Booth Level Officer of Part No. 140, Shyamnagar-I, Sri Vijaya Puram Tehsil, South Andaman District, has achieved full completion of the assigned task, successfully distributing and collecting 100% of the enumeration forms. Her timely and dedicated efforts have contributed significantly to the smooth functioning of the revision work at the grassroots level.

Recognising her exceptional performance, Mr. Kamaleshwar Rao, IAS, Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (AERO), Sri Vijaya Puram, awarded her a Certificate of Appreciation for her outstanding service in the electoral roll revision campaign.

The District Administration has lauded the commitment of field officials engaged in the revision exercise, noting that such dedication plays a vital role in strengthening democratic processes. The AERO Office confirmed that similar exemplary performances by Booth Level Officers will continue to be acknowledged and appreciated during the ongoing Special Intensive Revision drive.
