Two Booth Level Officers (BLOs) from Car Nicobar Tehsil were recognised for their outstanding performance during the collection and digitisation of Enumeration Forms (EF) as part of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Electoral Roll, 2025.
Ms. Severina, Anganwadi Worker attached to the CDPO Office, Car Nicobar, achieved a digitisation rate of 99.37% (EF), while Ms. Alisha Mona, PST, Education Department, recorded 97.28% (EF). Their efforts contributed significantly to the overall progress of the revision work.
A felicitation ceremony was organised in the presence of the District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner, Nicobars. The District Election Officer appreciated their commitment and accuracy in strengthening the electoral registration process.
The SIR 2025 activities are being carried out under the supervision of Mr. Amit Kale, IAS, District Election Officer, Nicobars, through all BLOs conducting door-to-door EF distribution, filling and collection.
The occasion also highlighted the efforts of field functionaries and reiterated the importance of efficiency, accuracy and dedication in the performance of electoral duties. (Story Based on PR)
