As part of the ongoing “Sampark se Samadhan – Prashasan Gaon ki Ore” programme, the District Administration of North & Middle Andaman intensified its grassroots outreach on Friday, conducting an extensive Village Outreach Programme across seven villages in the Rangat Sub-Division.
Led by Mr. Sushant Padha, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, North & Middle Andaman, the team—comprising the Assistant Commissioner (Middle Andaman), Divisional Forest Officer (Middle Andaman), and Heads of various Departments—visited Sabari, Bharatpur, Vishnupur, Bakultala, Shyamkund, Urmilapur, and Kalsi.
The Administration carried out door-to-door interactions with villagers to assess grievances directly. Issues related to roads, water supply, health services, education, civil supplies, and public amenities were reviewed. Several concerns were addressed on the spot through coordination with the respective Departments, ensuring timely relief and responsive governance.
The District Administration announced that the initiative will be expanded to cover all remaining villages in the coming months, ensuring every household receives attention.
The ongoing campaign continues to strengthen administrative connect and reinforce the commitment to deliver governance and grievance redressal at the doorstep of every citizen in North & Middle Andaman. (Story Based on PR)
