The Draft Electoral Roll under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) will be published today (December 23, 2025), Mr. L. Kumar, Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Andaman & Nicobar Islands, has announced.
According to the CEO, the enumeration phase of the SIR commenced on November 4, 2025, and concluded on December 18, 2025, as per the prescribed schedule. Electors who submitted their enumeration forms either through their respective Booth Level Officers (BLOs) or via the online platform will be included in the Draft Electoral Roll.
The Draft Electoral Roll will be available for public verification on the CEO’s official website (www.ceoandaman.nic.in) and at respective polling stations. Additionally, the list of Absent, Shifted, and Deceased voters will also be published and made accessible at polling stations and on the CEO’s website for verification.
Electors whose names do not appear in the draft roll may submit claims by filing Form-6 along with a declaration during the claims and objections period, which will remain open from December 23, 2025, to January 22, 2026.
The Chief Electoral Officer expressed gratitude to the electors of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, political parties, and Booth Level Agents for their cooperation and support during the Special Intensive Revision process.
