Lok Janshakti Party faction led by Chirag Paswan was allotted the name ‘Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas)’ by the Election Commission of India. ECI also allotted the symbol of Helicopter to the faction led by Chirag Pawan.
The Election Commission of India had earlier froze the party name and symbol of LJP owing to the dispute between the two factions of the LJP.
The bypolls in Bihar’s Kusheshwar Asthan and Tarapur is scheduled to be held on October 30th.
LJP is a new entrant in the political scenario of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Mr. Abhi Bhusan Ghosh, State Youth President of LJP (Ram Vilas), A & N Islands expressed his delight on the news of the dispute coming to an end. He urged the cadre of the party to work more enthusiastically for the welfare of the Islanders to fulfil the vision of Mr. Chirag Paswan and Late. Ram Vilas Paswan.
