Bharatiya Janata Party, Campbell Bay Mandal under the leadership of Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, State Vice President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Mr. E. S Rajesh, District President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Nicobar District, Mr. K.C Murugan, Mandal President, Campbell Bay Mandal, BJP and under the overall guidance and leadership of Mr. Ajoy Bairagi, State President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman and Nicobar Islands conducted a Cleanliness Drive (Safai Abhiyan) at Kamal Basthi, Campbell Bay on 7th October 2021.
The karyakartas of Bharatiya Janata Party gathered at Kamal Basthi and along with the local residents collected garbage lying at various public places in the colony. The garbage collected was safely stored for proper disposal.
The programme was conducted as a part of Seva aur Samarpan Abhiyan which started on the birthday of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi on 17th September 2021 and ended on 7th October 2021. Mr. Narendra Modi completed 20 years in public office on 7th of October 2021 and on this occasion, the Cleanliness Drive was organised to mark the occasion at Campbell Bay.
Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, State Vice President, BJP, A & N Islands and also the In-Charge of Seva aur Samarpan Abhiyan addressed the karyakartas and residents of Kamal Basthi during the Cleanliness Drive and explained to them about the significance of the day.
The cleanliness drive was actively organised by Mr. Kishore Kumar Surin, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, Campbell Bay & Mr. T Shiva Raj, Active Member, BJP, Campbell Bay.
