TSG Bhasker Meets Former Jharkhand Minister Bandhu Tirkey in Andaman & Nicobar Islands

Mr. TSG Bhasker, Chairman of the Campaign Committee of the Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee (ANTCC), recently met Mr. Bandhu Tirkey, former Minister and sitting MLA of Jharkhand, during the latter’s visit to the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

The meeting witnessed detailed and meaningful discussions on the socio-cultural issues and challenges faced by the Chota Nagpuri Adivasi community residing in the Islands. Both leaders deliberated on matters related to the welfare, development, and effective representation of the Adivasi community, with emphasis on addressing long-standing concerns and strengthening outreach efforts.

Mr. Bhasker highlighted the unique circumstances of the Adivasi population in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands and underscored the need for sustained policy support and inclusive development initiatives. Mr. Bandhu Tirkey, in turn, shared his perspectives and assured continued engagement on issues affecting the community.

Mr. TSG Bhasker was accompanied by Mr. Sebastian Tirkey, Chairman, Adivasi Congress; Advocate Prakash Minj, General Secretary, Ranchi Association; and Mr. Amir Bux, Vice Chairman, Minority Department, ANTCC.

On the occasion, Mr. Bhasker also congratulated Mr. Bandhu Tirkey on his recent appointment as the All India Congress Committee (AICC) Senior Observer for the forthcoming Assam Assembly Elections and extended his best wishes for the responsibility entrusted to him.
