The programme focused on creating awareness among parents and community members about the importance of early-grade learning, strong foundational education, regular school attendance and sustained enrolment of children in schools. Parents from different CRCs participated in the programme and responded positively to the awareness efforts.
As part of the initiative, first- and second-year D.El.Ed. trainees presented a series of cultural and awareness activities, including role plays, dance performances and group songs. These performances effectively conveyed key messages related to Foundational Literacy and Numeracy, quality education and the need for continuous school enrolment in a simple and engaging manner.
The programme contributed to strengthening community participation in educational initiatives and highlighted the collective role of parents, teachers and institutions in improving foundational learning outcomes.
