The Inter Primary School Football League-cum-Knockout Tournament 2026, organised by the Deputy Education Office, South Andaman, continued with enthusiastic participation on its seventh day at the GSSS Girls Ground and GSSS Bathu Basthi Ground on Tuesday.
In the Boys’ (Primary) category matches held at Bathu Basthi Ground, GSS South Point delivered a dominant performance, defeating GMS Lalta Singh 5–0. GSS Dairy Farm also registered a comprehensive 6–0 victory over Netaji Kendriya Vidyalaya.
GMS Dollygunj secured a convincing 4–0 win against GPS Teylerabad, while SS Sagaritara overcame GPS Indira Nagar by 3–0. In another fixture, GSSS Bathu Basti defeated GMS Sippighat 2–0. The match between GSSS Haddo and GMS Dugnabad ended in a goalless draw.
Meanwhile, in the Girls’ (Primary) category matches played at the Girls’ School Ground, GSS Dairy Farm edged past MGIS with a narrow 1–0 victory. GSSS Prothrapur defeated GMS Sippighat 2–0, and GMS Humfrygunj registered a 3–0 win over GPS Haddo.
The tournament has been witnessing keen competition among participating schools, with young players showcasing impressive teamwork and sporting spirit. Matches are set to continue in the coming days.
