As part of ongoing efforts to promote fun-based learning under the NIPUN Bharat Mission, NIPUN Mela 2025-26 was organised at PM SHRI Government Senior Secondary School, Ramkrishnapur, Little Andaman on February 12.
The mela aimed at encouraging children to achieve foundational skills through games, art and storytelling, with a focus on strengthening Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) among students up to Grade 3.
Addressing the gathering, the chief guest, Ms. Darley Samuel, Principal, reiterated that NIPUN Melas are essential community-focused events that help promote FLN among young learners.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Mr. T. Krishnamurthy, Headmaster (Primary), according to a press release issued by PM SHRI GSSS, Ramkrishnapur.
