The Andaman and Nicobar Islands Institute of Medical Sciences (ANIIMS) has officially migrated its website to a new Government domain, in a move aimed at improving digital accessibility and streamlining institutional communication.
The institute’s website has been shifted from its earlier address — http://andssw1.and.nic.in/aniims/ — to the new official domain: https://aniims.andamannicobar.gov.in. With immediate effect, all official notifications and institutional updates will be published exclusively on the new website.
According to ANIIMS, the updated portal will host academic announcements, recruitment notices, tender updates, examination details, hospital services information, and other important communications related to the institute.
The migration is in line with the Government of India’s initiative to standardize official websites under secure and unified government platforms. The new domain is expected to provide enhanced security features, improved user navigation, and easier access to information for students, faculty members, healthcare professionals, and the general public.
