The Directorate of Fisheries, Andaman and Nicobar Administration has informed the public that the Fisheries Museum-cum-Aquarium at Sri Vijaya Puram will remain temporarily closed from March 16 to March 27, 2026.
The closure is being undertaken to carry out essential repair and renovation works aimed at ensuring visitor safety, improving the overall visitor experience, and supporting the sustainable development of tourism in the islands.
According to officials, the Fisheries Museum-cum-Aquarium will resume normal operations immediately after the completion of the renovation works.
