The poster for the upcoming ABVP Students’ Conference 2026 was officially unveiled on Wednesday by members of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Sri Vijaya Puram unit, marking the commencement of preparations for the much-anticipated student gathering in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
According to ABVP representatives, the conference aims to bring together students, teachers and academicians on a common platform to deliberate on key issues concerning education and national development. The theme of this year’s conference, “Viksit Yuva for Viksit Bharat 2047,” highlights the crucial role of youth in shaping a strong and developed India.
The programme will also commemorate 150 years of Vande Mataram and feature discussions on the current status of higher education in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, with a focus on opportunities and challenges in the region.
The conference is scheduled to be held on March 22, 2026, at the Auditorium of the Anthropological Survey of India, located in front of the Bengali Club in Sri Vijaya Puram. The event will commence with the arrival of participants at 8:30 AM, followed by registration between 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM.
The inaugural session will begin with the Parishad Geet, lighting of the ceremonial lamp and rendition of Vande Mataram, formally marking the opening of the conference. A series of sessions, panel discussions and interactive segments have been planned throughout the day, focusing on student empowerment, academic growth and national integration.
On the occasion, ABVP representatives extended an invitation to students, teachers and academicians across the islands to participate in large numbers and contribute to meaningful discussions aimed at shaping the nation’s future.
