Airtel started testing its mobile network at Campbell Bay, Great Nicobar Island today. Very soon the residents of Great Nicobar would be able to enjoy the services of Airtel as the telecom major is all set to provide high speed 4G mobile services at Great Nicobar Island.
At present BSNL is the lone company providing mobile services to the residents of Great Nicobar.
According to the sources, Airtel will test its mobile network at Great Nicobar for a few more days before it is officially launched.
Sources also informed Nicobar Times that New Sim Cards will be made available at Great Nicobar only after the official launch.
