On 30th June 2022, Rangalal Halder, President, Andaman and Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee held a press conference in which Digital Media Channels were invited. In the Press Conference, Mr. Rangalal Halder informed that on 29th June 2022 he suspended two Congress Leaders after a scuffle took place at Congress Office. Later that night at around 11:30 Pm the Member of Parliament, Senior Congress Leaders and Councillors visited his house to speak to him and to convince him to revoke the suspension of the Congress Leaders.
Mr. Rangalal also informed that during the visit to his House, the MP informed him ‘Bazaar main charcha hota aapka murder karne ka’. Rangalal also informed that he has also written a letter to the police to investigate MP’s claim.
Senior Congress Leaders Mr. K Ganeshan, Mr. Tamil Selvam, Mr. Sanjay Chaudhary, Mr. Mangal Singh, Mr. Sanjib Mondal and PMBC Councillors from INC, held a Press Conference today and refuted the claims of Rangalal Halder.
Mr. Tamil Selvam explained the reason for visiting the house of Mr. Rangalal Halder at such an odd time at night. He further informed that he was present at Mr. Rangalal Halder’s house and no such conversation took place between the MP and Mr. Halder.
Mr. Sanjay Choudhary asked Mr. Halder to withdraw his statements and expressed anguish and sadness. He said, Mr. Halder and Mr. Sharma have worked together for so long and Mr. Halder should have spoken to the MP if the MP had informed him of such a threat, rather than going to the media with it.
Mr. Sanjib Mondal clearly refuted Mr. Rangalal Halder’s claim and said he was present there at the house of Mr. Halder and no such conversation took place between the MP and Mr. Halder.
