SI P Jeevan of Andaman and Nicobar Police has been awarded Union Home Minister’s Medal for Excellence in Investigation 2022. The Medal has been awarded to the young officer for commendable investigation in a POCSO Case registered at PS Kalighat.
SI P Jeevan is currently attached to SP(D) Office, Nicobar. The Union Minister’s Medal for Excellence in Investigation, 2022 has been awarded to 151 Police personnel from across the country.
The Medal was constituted in 2018, with the objective to promote high professional standards of investigation of crime and to recognise such excellence in investigation.
Officials from CBI bagged the highest number of Medals, followed by Maharastra Police.
DGP, Andaman and Nicobar Islands congratulated SI P Jeevan on his achievement.
