PS Aberdeen Staff Cracks Blind Burglary Case Within 24 Hours

The staff of PS Aberdeen have yet again cracked a blind burglary case, which occurred at the residence of a senior citizen within 24 Hours. The accused has been arrested and stolen articles have also been recovered.

A burglary case was reported at PS Aberdeen that on 27th December 2022. A sum of Rs. 30,000/- was stolen from the house of the complainant by breaking the door. Upon receiving the complaint, an FIR Vide No 234/2022 dated 27/12/2022 U/s 454/380 IPC was registered and immediately a team comprising of SI R. Dhiraj Kishen (IO), HC Sunil Singh Yadav, PCs Sandeep Lakra, Asish Singh and Shiv Kumar was constituted under the supervision of Insp. Girish Kumar, SHO PS Aberdeen for the search of the accused person and stolen money. 

The team working professionally swung into action and nabbed the accused person namely V. Eshwar, Pvt. Electrician R/o behind Youth Hostel and recovered stolen cash & articles which he had purchased from the stolen money.

The entire investigation took place under the overall supervision of Mr. Arshdeep Singh Panwar, DANIPS, Sub Divisional Police Officer, South Andaman.  

The general public has been requested to share information pertaining to any crime or other illegal activities to Police at 112, 03192-232100, 03192-233077 & 03192-232400. Police informed that the identity of the informant will be kept secret.
