Admiral D K Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.), Hon’ble Lt Governor, A&N Islands and Vice Chairman, Islands Development Agency is on a two-day visit to Kamorta. Hon’ble LG landed at Kamorta on 15th January 2023. On arrival, Hon’ble Lt Governor was received by senior officials of A & N Administration, A & N Police & Tribal representatives. Hon’ble Lt Governor took passage in ICGS Rajtarang and visited LOP Tillang Chaung.
Hon’ble Lt Governor inspected the facilities and interacted with personnel of A & N Police and Forest Department posted at Tilang Chaung. He appreciated their hard work and commitment towards duty.
Today, Hon’ble Lt Governor will hold a meeting with Tribal Representatives, Govt. Officials and the general public at EOC Hall at Kamorta at 9 am. On completion of the visit, Hon’ble Lt Governor will return to Port Blair in the afternoon.
