The Bharat Scouts & Guides Wing of Wimberlygunj Educational Zone conducted three days Beginners Course for Cub Masters, Scout Masters, Flock Leaders & Guide Captains from 7th February 2023 to 9th February 2023 at Govt. Middle School, Kanyapuram. Altogether, 56 Teachers attended this course. Mr. Gyan Sheel Dubey, District Chief Commissioner, BS&G/DEO, Wimberlygunj was the chief guest while Mr. V Ranjit Kumar, AD (Sports) of Wimberlygunj Educational Zone was the guest of honour. All the syllabus of Scouts & Guides were discussed during these three days course.
Addressing the Cub Masters, Scout Masters, Flock Leaders & Guide Captains the chief guest emphasized on the role of Scouts & Guides during natural and manmade disasters. He also stressed for implementation of proper Scouts & Guides activities in all the schools of Wimberlygunj Zone.
The guest of honour requested all the participants to impart the knowledge acquired during this course to all the students of their schools and to open units in their schools. A colourful cultural programme was also presented by the participants during the closing ceremony. The entire course was conducted by Mr. Samir Kumar Das, GTT/In- charge, Scouts & Guides of Wimberlygunj Educational Zone.
