PS Kadamtala Team Solves Temple Theft Case Within a Short Span, Recovers Stolen Cash

A case of theft of cash from Hari Mandir, Kadamtala was reported at PS Kadamtala on 18th of March 2023. The case was worked out promptly by the efforts of police team of PS Kadamtala, leading to the arrest of accused person and recovery of stolen cash within a short span.

On 18th March 2023, Mr. Sunil Mondal, President, Hari Mandir Committee, Kadamtala reported that on the intervening night of 17-18th March 2023, somebody entered into the temple premises by breaking the lock of main door and had stolen cash by breaking the donation box of the temple. 

Upon receiving the information, an FIR was registered and a team was formed under the leadership of SHO PS Kadamtala. The team conducted investigation and developed information from the local public. The team apprehended the accused and recovered the stolen cash of Rs.7308/- within two hours.

The general public has been requested to pass and share any credible information pertaining to any crime or illegal activities to their nearest police station or over phone Nos.100, 112 & 03192-273344. Police informed that the identity of the informers will be kept secret and  they will  also be suitably rewarded.
