The Police personnel of PS Diglipur under the leadership of SDPO Diglipur proved their mettle once again.
The team kept a sharp vigil over anti social activities under PS Diglipur jurisdiction. On 20th April 2023, police received an information that a resident of Sita Nagar, Diglipur is in possession of illicit ganja. The team under the leadership of SDPO Diglipur along with independent witnesses reached the residence of the accused and after following all the codal formalities as mandated under NDPS Act, nabbed him. On thorough search, the team recovered a bag containing illicit ganja weighing 1.242 Kgs. The accused was arrested and a case under relevant section of the NDPS Act was registered against him. The whole operation was carried out under the overall supervision of the Superintendent of Police, N & M Andaman District.

Police informed that the identity of the informers will be kept secret and the informers will also be suitably rewarded.
