Central Crime Station Seizes Methamphetamine in Successful Operation

In a significant breakthrough, the Central Crime Station, CID has achieved a major success in their fight against illegal drug activities. Acting on a specific intelligence input received from a reliable source, the CID successfully intercepted an individual and confiscated a substantial quantity of Methamphetamine. 

The operation, carried out on July 11, 2023, near the Nescafe Coffee/snack shop at Mazarpahad, was executed by a team comprising Sub-Inspector Shaji Mathew, Head Constable Sanjay Kujur, Constable K. Rajendran, N. Thangaraj, and Chandran. Under the supervision of Deputy Superintendent of Police (CID) Sh. Kumar Abhishek, the team apprehended Mr. S. Karthick, a 34-year-old resident of Sippighat, Bambanallah. The thorough search of his person led to the discovery and seizure of 5.62 grams of Methamphetamine.
