The Jawaharlal Nehru Rajkeeya Mahavidyalaya (JNRM) in Port Blair has announced counselling sessions for the admission to several undergraduate courses for the academic session 2023-24. The counselling sessions have been organised to fill the remaining vacant seats in various UG programs, and candidates are urged to participate in these sessions as per the specified dates.
Candidates who have applied for admission to the following courses have been advised to attend the counselling sessions in the Inter-disciplinary Departments of JNRM. It is essential to be present by 9 am on the respective dates mentioned below:
25th September 2023: B.Sc. Geography, BPES, B.Com, B.Sc. Physics, B.Sc. Chemistry, B.A. English, B.Sc. Botany, B.Sc. Mathematics & B.A. Economics
26th September 2023: B.Sc. Zoology, B.B.A, B.C.A , B.A. Political Science, B.Sc. Home Science, B.A. History, B.A. Tamil, B.A. Hindi & B.A. Bengali
Candidates attending these counselling sessions are required to bring all the necessary documents in their original form. It is important to note that certificates downloaded through DigiLocker are considered valid for the counselling session, facilitating provisional admission by JNRM. However, the original 12th-grade mark sheet must be submitted to JNRM in due course for verification and the final admission process, in accordance with Pondicherry University.
For candidates seeking admission to BPES (Physical Education and Sports Sciences), a Physical Fitness Test will be conducted. It is mandatory for these candidates to come dressed in appropriate sports attire on the day of counselling for their Fitness Test.
