Prompt Action by Kadamtala Police Reunites Owner with Missing Wallet

In a commendable display of swift response and dedication to public service, the Kadamtala Police Station successfully recovered a missing wallet and returned it to its grateful owner.

On September 15, 2023, Mr. Jairul Sardar, a 26-year-old private worker hailing from Junglighat, Port Blair, visited the Kadamtala Police Station to report a missing wallet. The wallet held not only his cash but also important items like ATM cards and identity cards.

Upon receiving the report, the staff at PS Kadamtala acted swiftly, initiating an extensive search across various locations within the Kadamtala area. Their tireless efforts ultimately led to a breakthrough when they located the missing wallet by the roadside near JPP Parlobjig No. 3.

The wallet was found to contain cash amounting to Rs 2400/-, along with Mr. Jairul Sardar’s invaluable identity cards and ATM cards. The diligent efforts of the Kadamtala Police were instrumental in recovering the lost items.

Sub-Inspector P.M. Krishna Kumar, the Station House Officer (SHO) of PS Kadamtala, personally handed over the recovered wallet, cash, ATM cards, and identity cards to their rightful owner, Mr. Jairul Sardar. Mr. Sardar expressed his appreciation for the prompt action, dedication, and unwavering efforts demonstrated by the Kadamtala Police in locating his missing wallet.
