Grand Rozgar Mela Rescheduled to September 26: PM Modi to Virtually Distribute Offer Letters

The eagerly anticipated ‘Grand Rozgar Mela,’ originally slated for September 25, 2023, has been rescheduled to September 26, 2023. This event will take place at the DBRAIT Auditorium, commencing at 9 am, with the primary objective of extending Offers of Appointment to approximately 1000 posts within Group ‘C’ and Group ‘B (NG)’ categories to address various departmental vacancies within the Andaman and Nicobar Administration.

The rescheduling of the event aims to ensure a seamless distribution of appointment letters to the selected candidates. These letters will be presented virtually through video conferencing by the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi, on September 26.

To mark the occasion, the Honorable Minister of State for Home, Youth Affairs, and Sports, Mr. Nisith Pramanik, will preside as the chief guest. Additionally, the event will witness the esteemed presence of the Honourable Lt. Governor of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Vice Chairman of the Islands Development Agency, Admiral D K Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.). Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, the Honourable Member of Parliament from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, will also grace the ceremony with his presence. Further dignifying the event, Mr. Keshav Chandra, IAS, Chief Secretary of the Andaman and Nicobar Administration, will participate as a distinguished guest.

Selected candidates are cordially invited to attend the ‘Rozgar Mela’ scheduled at the DBRAIT Auditorium on September 26, 2023, to receive their Offer of Appointment letters in person. This invitation is to be considered as personal invitation, and candidates are requested to be seated in the DBRAIT Auditorium by 8 am on the specified date.
