The Haj Committee of India, Mumbai, has officially unveiled the commencement of applications for Haj 1445 (H) – 2024 (C.E.) for the residents of A & N Islands. In a recent announcement, individuals eager to partake in the Haj pilgrimage during 2024 are urged to submit their applications online. Assistance is also available for applicants through the A&N State Haj Office, facilitating a seamless application process.
To streamline the application process, the A & N Islands State Haj Committee has established an E-Suvidha Kendra dedicated to aiding Hajis in the online submission of their Haj Application Form (HAF). As part of the prerequisites, applicants are required to thoroughly review the Guidelines for Haj-2024 before completing the application process.
One of the primary stipulations for applicants is the possession of a machine-readable valid Indian Passport. The passport must have been issued on or before December 20, 2023, or the stipulated last date of application, and should be valid at least until January 31, 2025. Essential documents including the first and last pages of the passport, a recent passport-size photograph against a white background, a copy of a canceled cheque of the Cover Head, and proof of address are mandatory to be uploaded with the application.
For further insights and assistance, prospective pilgrims are encouraged to reach out to the Office of A&N Islands State Haj Committee. The office, located on the second floor of the Directorate of Social Welfare Building at Goalghar, Port Blair, will be available to address queries and offer assistance during office hours until December 20, 2023.
