Acting on the tip of information, the Kadamtala Police Unit has seized 530 Nos bottles of IMFL from the possession of one Binu Kumar R/o Rangat on 04/11/2020.
On 04/11/2020 a credible information was received that one person namely Binu Kumar is transporting huge quantity of IMFL from Port Blair by a private car. On this a team comprising of Inspr. Usman Ali, SHO PS Kadamtala PC/1197 Manojit Gharamiani & PC/1388 K. P. Mohd. Shihabuddin of PS Kadamtala swung into action and intercepted the car at Uttara which was driven by Mr. Binu Kumar R/o Rangat on checking the Police team had recovered a total of 530 bottles of IMFL (460 Nos. 180 ML IMFL bottle and 70 Nos. 750 ML bottles of IMFL) which was concealed in several gunny bags. The car alongwith all recovered items were seized on the spot and a case under excise regulation has been registered at PS Kadamtala. The entire operation was carried out under the close supervision of Shri. R.K. Sharma, SDPO Rangat.
