Two people were reportedly murdered at Gandhi Market in Port Blair yesterday i.e on 08th July 2021 during the evening hours after all shops were closed. The incident was reported to PS Aberdeen by a private labour who used to sleep in one of the shops of Gandhi Market.
It is being reported that the Private Labour after having his dinner was proceeding to sleep at his usual place at a shop in Gandhi Market when he saw one person lying blood-soaked on the floor in front of one of the shops. He then saw another person also lying blood-soaked on the floor a few steps ahead.
The private labour saw a lot of blood accumulated near the head of the second person he saw. He rushed to the Police Station and reported the matter as the persons lying on the floor near the shops in Gandhi Market appeared to be dead.
Sources have informed Nicobar Times that the Aberdeen Police has registered an FIR in the case under section 302 IPC and the investigation is going on.
